We invite and encourage editors, editorial groups, investigators, and practitioners to endorse the STARD statement. There is no official way of adopting STARD. However, we recommend the following steps:
| - | Include the STARD statement and / or STARD checklist in the instructions for authors. Please, refer to the STARD website (stard-statement.org). |
| - | Please, write an editorial about these reporting guidelines and the your policy with regard to the use of the STARD statement. |
| - | Please, let us know if the STARD statement is mentioned in your instructions for authors and we will put your journal on the list of STARD adopters (adopters of STARD). |
